Nirmalkumar Mohandoss
Nirmalkumar Mohandoss is an advocate based in Chennai practising before the High Court of Judicature at Madras. He has authored articles and opinion pieces in numerous leading journals, magazines and dailies. He has also co-authored a chapter in the book titled, 'The Right To Sanitation In India', published by the Oxford University Press. He represents the Government of Puducherry, ESI Corporation and several other Public Sector Undertakings before the High Court of Judicature at Madras. In consonance with the views shared in the book, he has been relentlessly working towards having a High Court established for Puducherry. Beyond professional practice, the author engages in legal and constitutional discourse as a public intellectual in print, social and other media platforms, seeking to bridge the divide between legal understanding and public consciousness.
