Dr Manoj Kumar
Dr Manoj Kumar is a public servant, wildlife photographer and author with a deep passion for nature, wildlife and Bharat’s cultural heritage. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to public service, conservation and social welfare. He has received several honours, including the Mahatma Gandhi Samman at the House of Lords, UK; Atal Samman; Nelson Mandela Leadership Award at Oxford University; and the Society of Indian Law Firms’ Award of Distinction. At the time of publication, he is serving as Additional Secretary, Government of India, Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice, and Member, National Tiger Conservation Authority. Sacred Tiger Tales brings together his love for wildlife photography, India’s civilisational memory and his belief that conservation is both an ecological and cultural responsibility
